About my work

I have worked extensively with adults, young people and couples in my private practice and I have experience of working with a wide range of issues. I am drawn to working with trauma and PTSD and touched by my clients capacity for post traumatic growth. As a trauma informed therapist, I have a commitment to ongoing professional development in this field. I am also passionate about working with clients who are feeling lost or uncertain, suffering from a personal struggle within or have lost the joy and pleasure in life, feeling disconnected from themselves and others. My hope is that by working together we can bring clarity and insight to the things in your life that you would like to change and help you to find a pathway forward that brings meaning and purpose in life.

I studied my first degree in Theatre Studies/Special Effects at the University of the Arts, London and Parsons School of Design in NYC. My diverse background includes working in various fields such as West End theatre, film and television, the visual arts industry, project management, and arts education.

Biography

I have worked for many years within several community counselling services supporting adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties. Prior to working in private practice, I  volunteered with domestic abuse and women's charities in London, which served a diverse and multicultural community of individuals, across the life span, from children to older adults. I have also worked as a play therapist and school counsellor in primary school settings for a leading charity and delivered workplace training on mental health issues. I currently work in private practice and as a therapist for various emergency and frontline services, including Police and veterans experiencing PTSD and trauma.
