
Session information
The process of beginning therapy can be filled with hope and possibility for change, but it can be daunting, especially if you are unsure of what to expect. Sessions provide an opportunity for you to explore and discover more about yourself and what is troubling you.

Initial appointment
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to get a sense of how it feels to work with me. We will look together at what is happening for you, how it is affecting different areas of your life, and what you might like to be different.
This initial meeting is also a time for us both to decide if we wish to work together, and If you feel that I am the right therapist for you.

If you prefer, we can begin with a brief introductory telephone consultation. I will ask a little about what you are looking for from therapy and you can ask me any questions or concerns you may have. From there, you can take some time to think about it or we can schedule your first session.

Further sessions
Our therapeutic relationship is the agent which facilitates the process of change and lies at the heart of my practice, helping you to discover your strengths, resources, and unique potential. I can’t know what it feels like to be you, but I aim to offer a space for you to explore, express and discover who you are and where you want to go. Therapy can support you to explore our feelings and behaviours, relationships, and experiences. It involves noticing and sometimes challenging the ways we think about ourselves, our past, and the situations we find ourselves in. Over time this self - awareness can empower you to be who you are Whilst I do not offer obvious answers or quick fixes, I do support you to develop a stronger sense of who you are, both in terms of yourself, your relationships to others and to overcome your personal challenges.
We all have within us, the capacity to create long-lasting change, to live bravely in our own skin and live the lives we want.
Sessions will last for 50 minutes, and we will meet once a week at a time that is reserved for you.

Pricing is as follows per session:

Individuals: £65.00
Couples: £85.00​
I offer a limited number of reduced fee places for those on lower incomes. Please get in touch for more information.

If you have private health insurance, some of your session fees may be covered. I work with Bupa, Cigna and WPA.
