Counselling during the COVID-19 outbreak
During these uncertain and challenging times more people than ever are seeking mental health support. The way we live our lives every day has been affected and this is having a profound effect on our mental health. The rise in cases, the concerns, and issues we have and the extended time period we have been living with restrictions leaves us uncertain about what may unfold.
At present, I have suspended all in-person appointments in order to follow the government guidance to keep you, myself and others safe. I have made changes to my current practice to ensure that I can continue to support my clients in these difficult times, and I am working either by a video call or telephone. Research shows that these methods of counselling are just as effective as face to face counselling.
The pandemic has altered the world as we know it, impacting our emotional wellbeing, relationships, employment and financial circumstances. Please do get in touch for full details of the support I am offering online. I work with both individuals and couples, irrespective of your location.
In-person appointments will resume depending upon government guidance and safety concerns.
