We live in a world full of challenges that can sometimes be overwhelming and confusing. I support clients to move through their difficulties to living a more meaningful life, with hope and determination. It is an honour to share this deeply personal and unique journey with you.

I trained as an Integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor and I am registered with the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I believe in adhering to the ethical and professional standards in regards to privacy, confidentiality and competence. Many professionals are required to work ethically, however in counselling this means we put our respect of the client’s individual values, experiences and process of change at the forefront of the therapeutic relationship.

We each mark a place on a wide spectrum of human difference; our appearance, interests, abilities, values, preferences, gender, and sexuality. I appreciate individual difference and acknowledge you as the unique individual that you are. I am committed to your personal growth, and to creating an open, collaborative, warm, and non-judgemental place for you to explore and recognise your strengths, creativity, choice and personal identity. I believe that understanding, knowing and believing in who we are as individuals can help us to live bravely in our own skin and live the lives we want.

Let go of who you think you’re supposed to be; embrace who you are.”

More about me

Alongside private practice, I have worked as a play therapist in primary school settings for a leading charity and delivered workplace training on mental health issues. I have spent time working within community counselling services such as YMCA Cambridgeshire and One to One project in Kings Lynn, supporting both adults and young people experiencing a wide range of difficulties. My previous work has included working with vulnerable children and young people in educational settings and youth groups. As an artist, I have completed  many residencies in schools, communities and adult education. My experience of working with young people over the years has provided me with invaluable insight into their complex mental health needs such as anxiety/panic attacks, LGBTQI/identity issues, self harm and bereavement.

My diverse background includes working in various fields such as project management, retail management, education, West End theatre, design, film and television, visual arts industry and childcare.
